Delete your account

You can delete your Capital Commons account and its data at any time. Capital Commons is operated by JG Commons.

In the Android app

1. Open Me and tap Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password (or type DELETE if you sign in with Google) and confirm.

Without the app

Email jgantony.fin@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account” and your username. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your personal details: name, date of birth, email, mobile number, password, profile photo and bio.
• Everything you posted: posts and photos, comments, questions and answers, help requests and offers, skill listings, thank-you notes, campaign updates and stances.
• Your messages are replaced with “This message was deleted”.
• Your learning progress, notifications, likes, votes and reactions.

What is kept

• Your username stays reserved so no one else can take it, shown as “Deleted member”.
• Security and sign-in logs, kept as described in the Privacy Policy to prevent abuse.
• Information we must keep by law, until that obligation ends.

Deleting your account can’t be undone.
